Do you love stories, enjoy imagining new worlds, or have ideas you would like to share through writing?
Join Voices of Future Generations Children’s Initiative (VoFG CI) for an exciting online Creative Writing Workshop!
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Time: 12:00–1:00 p.m. EST
Location: Online
Who can participate: Indigenous children and youth ages 8–17
Together, we will brainstorm story ideas and explore creative ways to express our thoughts, experiences, and imaginations in preparation for the 2026 Writing Contest for Indigenous Children in Canada.
This interactive workshop will focus on Indigenous children’s rights, encouraging participants to draw inspiration from their communities, cultural heritage, traditions, and lived experiences. It is an opportunity for young writers to share their ideas, develop their storytelling skills, and discover how their voices can help create a better future.
Whether you already love writing or are just beginning your storytelling journey, we welcome you to join us, get inspired, and bring your ideas to life!
