Voices of Turtle Island: Short Stories by Young Indigenous Authors celebrates the creativity, resilience, and wisdom of young Indigenous authors from across Canada. Through ten powerful short stories inspired by Indigenous histories, cultures, traditions, and the enduring experiences of Indigenous communities, these young storytellers explore themes of identity, belonging, family, healing, reconciliation, and hope. Rooted in truth and guided by Indigenous knowledge, this anthology honours the strength of Survivors, the richness of Indigenous cultures, and the importance of remembering the past while looking to the future. Together, these stories invite readers of all ages to listen, learn, and walk alongside Indigenous youth as they share their voices, preserve their cultures, and inspire a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world for future generations.
