The Voices of Turtle Island Anthologies are a collection of stories by young Indigenous authors from across Canada, celebrating the creativity, resilience, and lived experiences of Indigenous youth while honouring the rich histories, cultures, languages, and traditions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. Bringing together award-winning short stories, original artwork, and educational content, the series amplifies the voices of young storytellers whose perspectives are rooted in truth, cultural identity, and a deep connection to the land.

Through a powerful blend of historical fiction, contemporary storytelling, realism, and Indigenous knowledge, Voices of Turtle Island Anthologies explores themes of identity, belonging, family, healing, reconciliation, environmental stewardship, intergenerational knowledge, and hope. Inspired by real histories and the enduring experiences of Indigenous communities, the stories are brought to life through illustrations by Indigenous artists and invite readers to reflect on the past while envisioning a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future guided by Indigenous wisdom and resilience.
