Empowering Children to Shape a Just and Sustainable Future

We are a small, mission-driven charity with a global reach, committed to empowering children to share their visions for a better world. Our work is grounded in the promotion of children’s rights, with a strong emphasis on supporting Indigenous youth and advancing the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

Since our founding in 2014, the Voices of Future Generations Children’s Initiative (VoFG CI) has grown into a global movement. Through storytelling, intergenerational dialogue, eco-seminars, and educational outreach, we enable children to meaningfully participate in shaping the future they envision.

Our programs support the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and work toward building a more inclusive, just, and sustainable world.

 Our Mission

We exist to support and amplify children’s voices, including Indigenous and underrepresented youth, by:

  • Advancing global education and literacy through a celebrated children’s book series authored by children, for children.

  • Creating spaces where children engage in meaningful dialogue with leaders and experts in sustainability, human rights, climate justice, and education.

  • Encouraging youth to imagine and articulate bold, solution-oriented visions for the future—and supporting them as they advocate for real-world change.

Our Vision

We envision a world where:

  • Every child has access to quality education, a healthy environment, and the right to be heard.

  • Indigenous knowledge, culture, and voices are uplifted as essential to sustainable futures.

  • Storytelling bridges generations, cultures, and geographies, sparking action and collaboration on shared global challenges.

  • Children’s insights and ideas are reflected in decisions that impact their lives and the world they will inherit.

We believe children are not only the leaders of tomorrow, they are powerful changemakers today. When their voices are heard, valued, and empowered, meaningful transformation becomes possible.
